Lucas Oil Stop at Raceway 7 Canceled; Tyler County and PPMS on Schedule

BATAVIA, Ohio (September 28, 2022) – Excessive rainfall between 3 and 6 inches in northeast Ohio has left the grounds at Raceway 7 heavily saturated - forcing track and Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series officials to cancel Friday night’s Great Lakes 50.

Thursday night’s 54th Annual Hillbilly Hundred at Tyler County Speedway, and Saturday’s 34th Annual Pittsburgher at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway are still on as scheduled.

A complete program is scheduled for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series at Tyler County Speedway, culminating in a 100-lap, $30,000-to-win finale. The RUSH Dirt Late Model Series, UMP Modifieds, and Hot Mods will also be in action on Thursday, September 29th.

The pit gate will close at 1:30 PM and reopen at 2:00 PM, the general admission gates will open at 3:00 PM with on track racing action beginning at 6:00 PM with Hot Laps for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series.
