CORONA, CA (August 18, 2010) – This weekend, the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt series returns to Florence Speedway for one of the sport's Crown Jewel events, the 28th Annual Sunoco Race Fuels North/South 100 presented by Lucas Oil.  The race pays a whopping $50,000 to win and $2,500 to start, and is expected to draw many of the sport's biggest names.  The event can be heard live on, through XRN (formerly RaceCastLive). Series Internet Broadcaster, Matt Noonan, will call all the action beginning Saturday Night, August 14th, at 7:30pm Eastern.

Over the past decade, the Sunoco Race Fuels North/South 100 Presented by Lucas Oil has become one of the must-see events in dirt late model racing.  Last year, Jimmy Mars electrified the capacity crowd by charging from his 15th place starting position to make a last lap pass on Don O'Neal to score the $50,000 victory.

Earlier this season, the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series competed at Florence Speedway in the 24th Annual Ralph Latham Memorial, an event that saw Earl Pearson Jr. hold off Scott Bloomquist in a thrilling battle to take the $10,000 win.

XRN, formerly known as RaceCastLive, will produce all of the LOLMDS Internet broadcasts in 2010.  The network is set debut a new web site in August 2010.  For more information, visit
