CORONA, CA (January 15, 2007)- Officials of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series are excited to announce several marketing partners that have signed up to be associated with the Series for 2007. Many of these companies will be offering contingency awards and other special awards for drivers that compete on the Series in 2007. With the increased popularity of the Series in 2006, many companies have recognized the value in marketing with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series in sponsorships and contingency programs and are utilizing the Series as an important marketing tool to promote and advertise their products and services.Lucas Oil Products is again the “Official Oil Products” for the Series in 2007. Sunoco Race Fuels will return to be the “Official Race Fuel” as Hoosier Tire is once again the “Official Tire” for 2007 and Arizona Sports Shirts is the “Official Merchandise Vendor” for the Series.The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series is excited to have LifeLong Locks as the sponsor of the Fast Time Award in 2007. LifeLong Locks is a new company that manufactures an innovative locking system for trailers and hitches. LifeLong Locks will award a $100 cash award to the fastest qualifier at every Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series sanctioned event in 2007.COMP Cams has increased their involvement with the Series for 2007 and will be the title sponsor of the “COMP Cams Rookie of the Year program. The Rookie of the Year program has several new sponsors and awards to be given out to drivers that compete for the Rookie title. The highest finishing rookie at every sanctioned event will receive a $100 product certificate from COMP Cams, $100 product certificate from Ohlins Shocks and the top rookie of the year will receive a $10,000 cash award at the year end banquet. Integra shocks will award the runner-up in the Rookie of the Year title a complete set of Integra Shocks and springs valued at $3,000. Performance Bodies will award a product award to both the winner and runner-up in the final Rookie of the Year standings at the banquet as well.Edelbrock has signed on to be the title sponsor of the “Edelbrock Hard Charger Award” for the Series in 2007. Edelbrock will award a $100 product certificate to the driver that advances the most positions at each event in 2007. An Edelbrock Hard Charger points category will be kept throughout the year and the driver that earns the most Hard Charger points will be awarded a $500 cash award and a $500 product award from Edelbrock at the year end.PBM Performance Parts /Erson Cams will be the title sponsor of the season long engine builder’s challenge. PBM/Erson Cams will award a cash award at the year end banquet to the top engine builder determined by a special points system among the engine builders associated with the Series. The engine builders that are part of the year long competition at this time include: Carl Grover Engines, Cornett Race Engines, Jay Dickens Engines, Larry Wallace Engines, Malcuit Engines, Pro Power engines and Vic Hill Race Engines.Hawk Brake will be the sponsor for Heat Races 1 & 2 and will award a $75 product certificate to the winner of each race. Quarter Master will be the title sponsor for Heat Race 3 & 4 and will also award a $75 product certificate to the winner of those qualifying heats. Tex Racing has come on board with the Series in 2007 and will award a $50 product certificate to the winner of each event and a $75 product certificate to the driver that leads the most laps at every event.Allstar Performance continues their involvement with the Series in 2007 and will award the Allstar Performer of the Race a $100 Product Certificate, the driver who accumulates the most Allstar Performances for the season will receive a $500 Product Certificate at the Championship Banquet.Mason Racin and Penske Shocks will once again sponsor the 1st and 2nd B- mains awarding a $75 product certificate to the winner of each of those B- Mains.Other series sponsors in 2007 include: Allstar Performance, American Racer Tire, Banshee Graphics, Cruise with the Champions, DART, Design 500, Hyperco, Integra Shocks, King of the Road, Ohlins, On The Edge Graphics, Performance Bodies, PPM, PRC, Rick Schwallie Photography, WD Enterprises. In addition these chassis manufacturers will be an associate sponsor of the Series and will participate in the “Chassis Builders Challenge” in 2007 including: Bloomquist Chassis, GRT Race Cars, MasterSbilt Race Cars, Rocket Chassis and Rayburn Race Cars.“We appreciate all the support these companies have put forth for 2007.
