Lucas Oil Motorsports Hour on Tuesday Night with Bloomquist, Schlieper, Smith and Green

CORONA, CA (October 12, 2009) – The Tuesday Night, October 13th edition of the Lucas Oil Motorsports Hour with host James Essex will air live on www.racecastlive.com at 8 PM Eastern/7 PM Central. The show will review the 20th Annual Dixie Shootout presented by Coal, America’s Energy and the Rome Showdown this past weekend, which closed out the 2009 season for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series.

On the live one-hour broadcast will be the new Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series National Champion, Scott Bloomquist.  Joining the champion will be Dan Schlieper, Freddy Smith, and Marshall Green.

Scott Bloomquist of Mooresburg, TN just clinched his first career LOLMDS Championship, doing it in grand fashion by winning the final event of the year, on Sunday Night, October 11th at Rome Speedway in Rome, GA.  He will talk about the season which led him to the title and the $75,000 champion’s check he will receive at the series banquet to be held on November 21st at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, IN.

Also on the show will be another member of Team Zero; Sullivan, WI’s Dan Schlieper, who ended the 2009 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series season with back-to-back second place finishes at Dixie Speedway and Rome Speedway.

The legendary Freddy Smith of Seymour, TN will be on the broadcast to talk about his season with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series. The “Southern Gentleman” will also discuss his plans for the future as he is wrapping up his 44th year of racing competition.

Finally, to put the wraps on the ’09 season of racing for the LOLMDS, former Dirt Track World Champion, Marshall Green, representing Dixie and Rome Speedways will be on the Lucas Oil Motorsports Hour to talk about this past weekend’s successful events held at the tracks which are owned by his father-in-law Mickey Swims.
