UNION, KY (May 30, 2009) – Jimmy Owens of Newport, TN took the lead on lap 35 from Don O’Neal as he went on to score his first Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series win of 2009 on Saturday Night at Florence Speedway; winning the 23^rd Annual Ralph Latham Memorial Race.  Owens swept by O’Neal with 15 laps to go. CORONA, CA (May 28, 2009) – Concluding a busy month of May, the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series heads to the home of the National Dirt Late Model Hall of Fame, Florence Speedway in Union, KY for the 23^rd Annual Ralph Latham Memorial this Saturday Night, May 30^th.  The annual event held every year since 1987 pays $10,000 to win.

PONTOON BEACH, IL (May 24, 2009) – Brian Birkhofer of Muscatine, IA reeled off another Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series win on Sunday Night as he captured the $10,000 to win FedEx 50 at Tri-City Speedway.  Birkhofer battled the weather conditions and tough competition in scoring his third consecutive LOLMDS victory after starting sixth.
