Jackson 100 Postponed for Sunday Due to Rain Showers
Brownstown, IN (September 26, 2009) – Rain began to fall during the waning laps of heat race number one, and just after the checkered flags fell on heat 1, the downpour began to grow in strength, temporarily postponing the remainder of the heats. After an hour and a half of rain continuing to batter the already drenched fairgrounds, officials of Brownstown Speedway and the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series have come together to make the decision to postpone the event until Sunday afternoon at 3:00PM.
Inclement Weather Wins Night One of 30th Annual Jackson 100

event will be run topless for the late model competitors for the first time in
history of the event, commemorating the 30th anniversary of the “Jackson
100”.

be a topless event, commemorating the 30th Anniversary of the famed
event. Competitors are advised that window netting is mandatory for the event. Triangle
Sprint Car style nets are acceptable at the Jackson 100.
